Food and Parties

Most hotels offer half board: either lunch or dinner buffets that you eat in the hotels together with the other hotel guests. Very often you can choose between lunch and dinner. The buffets at the Hotel Ermitage are particularly good.

Guests in San Marco and Mamma Margherita will be offered a simple but satisfying dinner meal in the romantic monastery courtyard. If you make a reservation in advance, you can also have an inexpensive lunch.

If you stay in hotels other than the San Marco or Mamma Margherita, you will not be able to eat in your hotel on some of the days, but we nevertheless recommend booking your hotel room with half board since in the end it is cheaper than eating out every meal. External guests may also eat at the San Marco / Mamma Margherita (the dinner costs € 15), but you have to make a reservation in advance.

Metaforum parties

Twice a week Metaforum will hold its very popular parties in the courtyard of the San Marco or in the garden of the hotel Mamma Margherita. They feature a buffet, music, a cultural program, and dance.

Party schedule:

• First week of camp: Tuesday: "Getting to know you" party; Friday: First stage party
• Second week of camp: Tuesday: "Over the hump" party, Friday: Future Conference party
• Third week of camp: Tuesday: Party in between, Friday: Farewell party

All participants not staying at the San Marco or the Mamma Margherita are required to pay € 20 per party. The Future Congress party costs € 30.

For organizational reasons, it is important that you make a reservation in advance.
